This page describes how to install the module.

Prerequisites

• Sitecore XP 7.5 rev.141003 or later.
• .NET Framework 4.5.
• ASP.NET MVC 2.0, if not already installed. You can get it from the following download page: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.html?id=22079.

Pre-installation steps

• Make sure that you have Analytics enabled on your Sitecore instance.
• Make sure that you have installed the SPEAK framework.

  The ECM does not use the preinstalled SPEAK framework and requires the initial version of SPEAK 1.0.0 rev. 140131 that can coincide and work side-by-side with the existing preinstalled version of the SPEAK framework.

  To install SPEAK 1.0.0 rev.140131:

  • Download SPEAK 1.0.0 rev.140131 (Sitecore package, 3.57 Mb)

  To upgrade SPEAK version from version 1.0.0 rev.130527 to version 1.0.0 rev.140131:

  • Download the SPEAK version 1.0.0 rev.140131 upgrade package (Sitecore package, 623 Kb)
    
    
• Add the "ecm.dispatch" connection string to /App_Config/ConnectionStrings.config:
  <add name="ecm.dispatch" connectionString="mongodb://localhost/ecm_dispatch" />
• Choose the 'restart client' option on the final step of this wizard.

You must install the packages in the following order:

1. SPEAK
2. ECM

Installation

Use the Sitecore Installation Wizard to install the packages. To open the Installation Wizard, click:

• Sitecore » Development Tools » Installation Wizard.
  Or:
• Sitecore » Control Panel » Administration » Install a Package.

After you install the packages, perform the following actions:

1. Run Sitecore.EmailCampaign.sql for the reporting database of your instance.
   The file is located in the Data folder.
2. Publish.
   Perform a Smart Publish for the site.
3. Configure the Email Delivery Service.
   Configure the Email Delivery service in the Sitecore Application Center.
4. Sign up for the Email Preview and Spam Detect services. [optional]
