To import a new language into SES:

  1. Make a backup of the Sitecore databases.
  2. Log in to the Sitecore shell as an administrator.
  3. Switch to the Core database.
  4. Make sure the language you are going to import is available in the database.
  5. If the language is not available, click Control Panel and then click Globalization, Add a new Language and add the required language.
  6. Unzip the file with the SPIF translation and click Control Panel, Globalization, Import Languages from a File and the wizard will guide you through the importation process.
  7. Log out.
  8. On the Login page, select the language that you just imported and then log in again.

You should now see the client in this language.
