Sitecore Application Center Client Translations

This page contains information about the Sitecore Application Center client translations that are available and describes how to import a translation into the Sitecore CMS installation.

You must download a Sitecore Application Center client translation file to run Sitecore App Center application in a different language.

To import a new language into the Sitecore CMS installation: 

  1. Make a backup of the Sitecore databases.
  2. Log in to the Sitecore shell as an administrator.
  3. Switch to the Core database.
  4. Make sure the language you are going to import is available in the database.
  5. If the language is not available, click Control Panel and then click Globalization,Add a new Language and add the required language.
  6. Download the appropriate client translation file from the following tables:

    Application: Content Translation v1.2

  7. Unzip the file and click Control Panel, Globalization, Import Languages from a File to import the client translation file.

  8. Log out.
  9. On the Login page select the language you just imported and then log in again.

You should now see the application in this language.
