Sitecore Experience Platform
Sitecore® Experience Platform™ 7.5 contains both Sitecore CMS and DMS.
Please note:
For improved functionality, capability, and support, Sitecore strongly recommends that you upgrade to the latest version of the Sitecore Experience Platform. The latest update provides significant enhancements to the business user experience as well as to the architectural changes initially introduced in Sitecore XP 7.5.
The latest Sitecore XP 8.0 update also includes critical hotfixes that significantly improve stability of this release compared to Sitecore XP 7.5. Therefore, you should plan to upgrade to Sitecore XP 8.0 and not remain in production on Sitecore XP 7.5. You can download Sitecore XP 8.0 from dev.sitecore.net.
Sitecore® Experience Platform™ is only supported on machines that meet the requirements described in the Requirements chapter of the Sitecore 7.5 Installation Guide. For detailed information about the requirements for Sitecore CMS and the installation procedure, see the Sitecore 7.5 Installation Guide.

Sitecore xDB Cloud Update for Sitecore 7.5
Sitecore xDB Cloud collects online and offline customer interactions to create a comprehensive, unified view of each individual customer. Download this support package to enable the region functionality for the xDB Cloud service. In this package all references to the contact points for cloud related support requests have been updated.

This package fixes the Content Management / Delivery downtime issues that can occur if a connection string is requested when the xDB Cloud Discovery service is unavailable.
Sitecore Customer Engagement Platform
The Sitecore Customer Engagement Platform (CEP) is the combination of Sitecore CMS and DMS. Sitecore DMS is an application that you can install on Sitecore CMS versions 6.5 – 7.2. Please follow the instructions and guidelines below to install the Sitecore CMS and DMS products.

Important Notes for all Sitecore CMS 7 Versions
- Configure your browser and always clear the browser cache when moving between Sitecore versions.
- If you want to uninstall a Sitecore CMS installation that has been installed with the setup executable, you must use the Windows Add/Remove programs option in Windows Control Panel. If you try to remove the solution manually, the registry may become corrupted.
