Commerce Connect Integration Fundamentals

Using Sitecore 7.5 Commerce Connect with Sitecore Commerce 8.0 powered by Commerce Server and Commerce Server 11.2.

The Commerce Connect integration framework consists of:

A customizable domain model consisting of data transfer objects that contain and transfer cart data between Sitecore and the Sitecore Commerce 8.0 powered by Commerce Server and Commerce Server 11.2
An API operating on the domain model objects, taking customizable request objects and returning customizable result objects.
A set of Sitecore pipelines corresponding to the API and populated with both Sitecore specific processors for engagement, as well as ECS specific processors for integration purposes.
