Integration Taskflow

Complete the following procedures to install Sitecore Commerce 8.0 powered by Commerce Server and Commerce Server 11.2 , Commerce Coonect, and the Integration pieces.

Note: Use an Administrator’s account for all tasks during the installation.
  1. Install Sitecore
    Install Sitecore by following the instructions on the Sitecore Developer Portal.
  2. Install Commerce Server
    Install Commerce Server using the instructions in the Sitecore Commerce Deployment Guide.
  3. Deploy the Integration Packages
    Configure your existing Sitecore site to use Sitecore Commerce 8.0 powered by Commerce Server and Commerce Server 11.2 data providers.
  4. Build a Sitecore Commerce 8.0 powered by Commerce Server and Commerce Server 11.2 Website
    Configure Sitecore by following the instructions in the Sitecore MVC Developer's Reference Guide or the Sitecore Presentation Component Cookbook on SDN.
  5. Enable SOLR for Commerce Connect
    Enable SOLR for your Sitecore Commerce 8.0 powered by Commerce Server and Commerce Server 11.2 solution if you are using Commerce Connect.
  6. Enable Analytics
    Allow page events for use by Sitecore Engagement Plans.
  7. Deploy the Merchandising Manager
    An optional task to install the Web-based Business Tools.
