Development environment

A single server with all Sitecore, Commerce Server, SCpbCS, SCpbMD, and SQL Server software installed. If you are working with Dynamics AX you may need a second machine to install all of the Dynamics AX software, as Dynamics AX requires more resources than are available with most machines.
