Transaction Service Overview

The Transaction Service is a wcf-based solution that encapsulates Dynamics AX transaction capabilities into a simple service endpoint. This sample solution demonstrates integration with Dynamics AX transaction capabilities encapsulated as a service available to the Connect processors in Sitecore, or directly from the UI via AJAX. In the case of the Dynamics SDK’s checkout control, the checkout control is designed to access these services directly and bypass any Connect integration. This provides a customization point for customers and partners as the Transaction Service is provided as source code and can be customized to implement specific business requirements.
