Upgrading to New Versions of the Dynamics AX for Retail SDK

The Transaction Service takes a dependency on the Dynamics SDK. Source code is provided that allows customers or partners to take new versions of the Dynamics SDK and integrate the new version into the Transaction Service. This allows the ability to upgrade to future versions of the SDK while maintaining service level compatibility with Sitecore’s Connect integration processors. In the event that Service Compatibility needs to be broken, customers and partners can provide overridden Connect processors to update to the updated service API.
