Planning for Managed Cloud

Abstract

Plan your cloud solution and include capacity planning, cache sizing, and so on.

There are many things to consider when moving your solution to the Cloud, beyond the basics of cost, security, migration, and testing. Sitecore recommends fully planning your process to ensure you have everything covered. Consider including the following in your plans:

  • Capacity planning

  • The size of your Content database

  • The size of your xDB database

  • Cache sizing

  • Your commerce considerations

  • Your disaster recovery plan

  • Your RPO and RTO in the event of an outage
