Catalog indexing

Catalog indexing enables searching catalog information, including catalogs, categories, products, and variants.

Two Catalog search indexes are defined:

  • commerce_products_master_index resides on the Master database, and is consumed by the Merchandising Manager business tool.

  • commerce_products_web_index resides on the Web database, and is optionally consumed on storefronts.

The indexes crawlers and strategies are defined in the Sitecore Commerce Connect component.
