Hosting the Data Exchange service in Sitecore

If you are running the Data Exchange service inside or outside of Sitecore, you need to install this package into Sitecore, as it installs items and templates that are required to configure data exchange.

  1. Navigate to http://<your site>/sitecore/admin/UpdateInstallationWizard.aspx, and follow the steps in the wizard.

  2. Upload the Sitecore.Commerce.DataExchange.Core.8.2.*.update file and install.

  3. Navigate to http://<your site>/sitecore/admin/UpdateInstallationWizard.aspx, and follow the steps in the wizard.

  4. Upload the Sitecore.Commerce.DataExchange.Providers.DynamicsRetail.8.2.*.update file and install it.

  5. Configure the Data Exchange service.
