Multichannel
Abstract
Sitecore Commerce Dynamics Connect has multi-site and multichannel support.
Each Sitecore Reference Storefront powered by Microsoft Dynamics site has an OperatingUnitNumber defined on the Home node. This OperatingUnitNumber must match the Microsoft Dynamics Retail channel that the site is used for.
Each site can support multiple channels by defining multiple Home nodes, and each Transaction Service can serve multiple channels that are defined in the Home nodes. Each site must have its own connection string defined in the Transaction Service web.config.
Each site is independent from the other. The Users/Login information and transactions are separate for each site.
