Method¶
This value reader is used to invoke a method on a .NET object and return the results.

Whether or not the specified method is an extension method. |
Extension Method Type |
The type in which the extension method is defined.
This field only applies when the method is an extension method.

Method Parameters¶
Parameters can be passed to the method by adding child items to the value reader. The parameters are passed in the order that matches the child item positions.
Parameter items are defined using the following template.

Note
Method parameters are designed to be static. You must specify the value at design-time (meaning, on the Sitecore definition item).
For example, you could use a method parameter to specify that you
want to read the first 10 characters of a string, or that you want
to format a string using a specific input mask, such as yyyy.MM.dd.
