When I use <replacers> … </replacers> to replace text “1” with “one” the Preview gives an exception with the message
“Guid should contain 32 digits with 4 dashes (xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx).” 

A:

This is actually by design as the replacement is applied to all field values at runtime. In this case, the replacement changes the layout id '{14030E9F-CE92-49C6-AD87-7D49B50E42EA}' to '{one4030E9F-CE92-49C6-AD87-7D49B50E42EA}' which causes an exception.
