Upgrading from version 5.2.0.6 or later to version 5.2.0.14

Please take the following steps to upgrade an existing 5.2.0.6 or later installation to Sitecore 5.2.0.14.

Before beginning this or any Sitecore upgrade, be sure to make a full backup of your existing site.

Perform a new installation of Sitecore 5.2

Copy files from the previous Sitecore installation web root into the new Sitecore web root.

Change the IIS web site home location.

Copy the changes made to the web.config file to the Sitecore 5.2 web.config file.

The upgrade process is now complete. Perform a full test of the web site.
