Forums Module and CommunityServer

Valid for Sitecore 5.3.2, 5.3.1

If using the full demo site configured for the Forums module (CommunityServer), manually restore the scPrintersCommunityServer.bak database backup as a new database named SCPrintersCommunityServer.

In Enterprise Manager, expand the relevant SQL Server Group, right-click on Databases and choose Restore Database from the All Tasks menu
Enter “SCPrintersCommunityServer” as the database name and select the From Device radio option
Select Select Devices
Select Add and choose the scPrintersCommunityServer.bak file
On the Options tab, leave the file names in place but set the physical paths to the appropriate values (typically files under C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL\Data)
After restoring the database, update the bolded values in the following lines of web.config; values are the database instance identifier, database username and password:
