This page contains information about the Sitecore Intranet Portal (SIP) translations that are available and describes how to import a translation into SIP.
Important: To ensure that your SIP installation is completely translated, you must also import the appropriate Sitecore CMS translation.
Download the appropriate client translation file from the following table:

The following SIP translations are currently available by request:
- Swedish
- French (Canadian)
To obtain one of the translations of SIP listed above, please contact Dmitry Vasilinenko (dv@sitecore.net).
To import a new language into SIP:
- Make a backup of the Sitecore databases.
- Log in to the Sitecore shell as an administrator.
- Switch to the Core database.
- Make sure the language you are going to import is available in the database.
- If the language is not available, click Control Panel and then click Globalization,Add a new Language and add the required language.
- Unzip the file with the SIP translation and click Control Panel, Globalization, Import Languages from a File and the wizard will guide you through the importation process.
- Log out.
- On the Login page, select the language that you just imported and then log in again.
You should now see the client in this language.
