This guide covers the steps to set up the Sitecore Reference Storefront for
Sitecore Commerce powered by Commerce Server (SCpbCS). The guide is broken
into five sections:
- Step 1: Set up Sitecore and Commerce Server. This section covers the steps to set up Sitecore, and then
install and configure Commerce Server.
- Step 2: Install Sitecore Packages.
This section covers the Sitecore package installations and
configurations that are used to set up communication between the
website and Commerce Server.
- Step 3: Set up a Commerce Server site.
This section covers the steps to create and secure the Commerce
Server site, and import the catalog, inventory, profile, and orders
data for the site.
- Step 4: Final Configurations. This section
covers the steps to configure your Commerce Server
installation.
- Appendices. This section covers
additional information needed to configure your Commerce Server
installation.
Each of these sections will take you through a major part of the set up. If you

Prerequisites:
This guide assumes you are performing a single server installation of all
components. The computer for Reference Storefront should only be installed
with MongoDB and Microsoft SQL Server.
Required files:
Before starting, be sure to download the following file:
Reference Storefront for Sitecore
Commerce powered by Commerce Server The download file will
have a name such as Sitecore.Reference.Storefront.for.SCpbCS.8.*.*.*.zip.
This file contains a number of Sitecore packages and Commerce Server files
needed for set up. Unzip the file to a location that will be convenient for
you.
